Meet Tara Cecily

Fri Jul 10, 2009, 12:16 PM
[link] I drew her on RateMyDrawings to get something up on there and at the same time refresh my memory of what she looked like. Go see it and tell me what you think!

I've been debating whether to use Tara in Supafly or not, because in the past, I intended her for a role that I wasn't sure I wanted her to play, since I wanted . I'm speaking vaguely here because I don't want to give anything away. Most of my friends IRL know who she is, but none of us are sure if I should actually use her.

So go give the artwork a see, and tell me what kind of person you think she is, and what kind of role you think she'd fit in an action story.

Haha, I totally understand the whole wanting to make a living thing while at the same time giving yourself time for your art. That's basically why I decided to pursue a health profession. It's tough work, but it's rewarding. Plus, you can always use your art as a way to deal with stress(especially tough classes!)

Do you know where you want to go to school? Some schools recommend taking the three basic sciences, Bio, Chem & Physics. Having completed 1/2 my curriculum already, I found it really useful to take as many health related courses in high school (and AP) as possible. The worse I did in high school and the more I struggled, the easier things were at college.

I definately recommend AP bio! That was probably my favorite class in high school, and I learned a substantial amount that I've used ever since.

My school didn't require math classes, but I took calculus my junior year, and have not needed it in college(so, I don't think it's important unless you like math).

I'm not sure what your school offers, but if you have any sports medicine or anatomy classes, TAKE THEM! It's crazy how much easier things are when you have a preview of them.

Also, if you are still unsure of which profession to do, try volunteering at a pt place, or ask if you can volunteer at a doctors, or hospital that has PA's so you can see what each of them do, and get a feel. I worked as a PT aide all in high school, so I knew exactly what I was getting myself into, and it helped me learn things and understand what I was learning in my classes.

Now that I wrote you a book, feel free to ask any more questions. I love helping people! :)
=__= I hope you know that the rickroll link in your tagline forced me to exit out of a 95% done but not saved page of Insomnia.
